Broadly waving the flag for anthemic alternative punk, the group try to root their sound in gritty tense tones, using harmony, discord and melody to give their music a swagger and confidence all of its own.

Yet as much as the dysfunction and frustration of modern life spills out of their songs, the band is still capable of instilling a sense of optimism in amongst the drama.

Weaving autobiographical tidbits from their own lives into semi-fictional songs, The Rebel Yell$ write stories about people going through tough times and trying to find their way out of it, trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Comeback kings rejoice.

Four years, a global pandemic, rewrites, false starts and the usual frustrations of being in a modern band couldn't stop this from being released.

For fans of the gaslight anthem, cold years, rancid, social distortion and anybody who likes a catchy rock melody.
